CASTLES AND PUBS ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!

Wow!!!  I have never in my life seen so many castles and pubs!  All I can say is that there must have been a crap load of important people back then or literally EVERYONE  lived in a castle :).  And...those important people living in castles spent a crap load of time in the pubs cause there are two on every corner.   On Monday, August 12th, we made our way to Bunratty...home of Bunratty Castle and Durty Nelly’s Pub.  Our first stop, of course, was at Durty Nelly’s to fortify ourselves before we toured the castle.

Obviously we didn’t have enough calories when we had fish and chips (a/k/a beer battered fish soaked in grease and a crap load of French fries) and a couple of Guinness for lunch.  What say we head  to Durty Nelly’s AGAIN for Guinness Stew and a couple of more Guinness!!!!
