WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM!

Friday started out blustery and rainy AGAIN! One thunderstorm after another rolled through. Thanks to Dr. Dave and Leann we now had a new VHF radio so CTM did manage to install it while we were waiting for the weather to pass. Finally at around 2:00 we couldn't take it any longer so off we went. We decided to troll the edge close to home in case we needed to make a run for it. To make a long story short we boated one Mahi and then it was "WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM!" We hooked up on 3 Mahi at the same time! With another thunderstorm bearing down on us we boated all 3 and headed in. Unfortunately the storm beat us there :( We made it to the harbor and could see our slip but we just couldn't get in it due to strong winds and rain. CTM did an excellent job of keeping FF III's bow into the wind until the winds subsided and we were able to tie up. If it hadn't been for the storm delay we would have been out and back in with 4 Mahi in the box in less than 2 hours!!!!

Nice Bull, Dr. Dave!!!

We took a cab up to Sharil's, a little local place in Deep Creek, and she cooked what I would call a "gob" of fish. It was DELISH!!!!

A sign at Sharil's....

We had a discussion about what "Hustling" meant. This morning I discovered one of the meanings has to do with soliciting as in prostitution so I guess it was a good thing we never said, "WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM" at Sharil's!!!!!

Catch you on the flip flop....

  1. By the way, the nice Bull was caught on our "special secret lure" the Moldcraft Chugger. The others were on Billy Baits but one was a new color, purple and black like the Chugger.
