BIMINI BOUND

After evaluating the wind we decided to make the long run back to Bimini on Monday.  We packed up and headed west.  We had "following seas" for most of the run so even though it was very windy we made it fine and without incident.  As soon as we got tied up Freddie spotted us :)   We made a plan with him to leave out early on Tuesday to Grouper troll, reef fish, and snorkel for some conch.  Yes, it would be a full day so we grabbed dinner at Bimini Big Game and hit the sack early. 

We didn't catch any Grouper this time but here is Caldwell wrestling in one of four big Mr. Barry Cudas and one Cero Mackerel.....

 It was too windy to anchor up to reef fish so the next stop was snorkeling for Conch.  Caldwell, Kate, and Freddie jumped in the water and picked up about 15 Conch.....yummo.....fresh Conch Chowder!!!!!

We took our Cero to Sherry's where we enjoyed a Goombay Smash and cold Kaliks while she prepared the Cero for the boys and fried chicken for Kate and me :)
