BOAT, CTM....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

After the debacle with the dinghy we thought surely nothing else could go wrong.....NOT!!!!  I had made one last run to the grocery store for provisions and when I returned I asked CTM how his afternoon went.  I could tell from the look on his face his answer was not going to be what I wanted to hear.  He had discovered the sea cock on the starboard engine was not shutting off and the sea strainer was cracked so the boat was going to have to be hauled out of the water ONE MORE TIME!  Parts were being overnighted AGAIN :(  You all know the acronym BOAT....  Well, I exclaimed, "BOAT, CTM....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"    Now, mind you, by this time it was Thursday and Saturday looked like our ONLY crossing day in a two week period so we were working like mad dogs to get everything done so we could head out.  We felt this to be a HUGE setback but doable.  So....early Friday morning CTM once again headed up to Coral Bay with the ole FFIII for one final fix.  Phew....all went smooth and he was back with her in the slip by 2:00.  We scrubbed the grease off of the back deck ONE MORE TIME and finished loading her and by 7:00 could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.  We looked at each other with a sign of relief and declared...."WE ARE HEADING TO BIMINI IN THE MORNING!!!!!!"  Well, stay tuned for THAT story!!!

Catch you on the flip flop.....
